Punjab is the home of the Sikh religion and the best place to see turbans of all colors and styles.
Often the color of the turban matches the color of the shirt.
Some look like they were wrapped quickly without much care.

Younger guys generally have smaller turbans. They told me it is because they don't have the time or patience to carefully wrap a large turban.

At the border closing ceremony, there is a huge crowd of spectators on the Indian side of the border.
But a less inspired, gender segregated crowd on the Pakistani side of the border.

Man praying at the Golden Temple.
At night, many people sleep on the floor inside the temple complex.
An administrative building lit up at night.
Horse and cart - still a popular mode of transporting goods.
Everyday, there is a ridiculous border closing ceremony at the Indian/Pakistani border. These are Indian soldiers.

My first glimpse of the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
