more of Jakarta

Monas, Indonesia's National Monument.
This is in the garden surrounding the Monas.
This is one of those fruits I got on the train. I cut myself trying to open it. But it tasted good.
McDonald's is everywhere, really.

Jakarta

A basket/bag of fruit on the train to Jakarta. Reading the Qur'an, got me a few of those fruits for free!
The old standby, nasi goreng ayam, and fresh apple juice.
Lapangan Banteng, Freedom Memorial. At night this is where the male prostitutes offer their services. The female prostitutes are everywhere - even in the room next to me.
This is supposed to be a pedestrian activated signal, however that button does not work.
You just step out into the street, like this person, and start walking.

more of Yogyakarta

The market/carnival in front of the kraton, the Sultan's residence.
At the Water Palace, where the Sultan used to live a long time ago.
In the Sultan's bed.
Woman doing Batik. They really try to make you buy this stuff.
Me doing laundry.

Yogyakarta

This was a difficult picture to take. There was always someone doing their business in the river. If you look closely, you'll see one.
Mosques, always a reminder that you're in a Muslim country.
This guy is washing his clothes down stream from where people are taking a dump.
Pure sugar & coconut, yummy. I didn't take any. I like my teeth.
