At the border closing ceremony, there is a huge crowd of spectators on the Indian side of the border.
But a less inspired, gender segregated crowd on the Pakistani side of the border.

At night, many people sleep on the floor inside the temple complex.

Horse and cart - still a popular mode of transporting goods.
Everyday, there is a ridiculous border closing ceremony at the Indian/Pakistani border. These are Indian soldiers.

My first glimpse of the Golden Temple in Amritsar.

The temple is built of marble, with inlay work similar to the Taj Mahal, and with gold overlay.

Eternal flame at Jallianwala Bagh. This park is the site of the 1919 massacre, where more than 400 Indians were killed by British authorities.
Inside this structure is a well where many jumped to their deaths to escape the gun fire.
