Nadu, India. After staying up all night listening to the people go blah blah blah on CNN, I muted the TV and decided to take an hour nap. I just happened to roll over and see the breaking news on the screen.
A year ago, I didn't think it was possible. And even while listening the
Obama's victory speech, I kept worrying that when all the votes are counted, they might say oops, we called it too soon. Although I didn't have tears rolling down my cheeks, like Jesse Jackson, I did feel a very powerful emotion - not just because Obama will be the first black president, but also because
finally an election where the candidate I voted for won!
I just love this - although, I give them a wide berth when I pass them on the street.
